"It has been hugely beneficial to my rehabilitation both physically, mentally and emotionally"

I have always kept myself reasonably fit and have eaten well. However, my training never covered all aspects of my body. In particular mobility and recovery was missing.

Morning of May 10th, whilst on an outride my horse slipped under me and my Tibia and Fibula were broken. Tibia was broken badly requiring an internal fixation (nail the length of the tibia, screws top and bottom). A major ligament was also torn in my ankle. The estimated recovery time was anything up to a year. With my firstborn baby on the way I was concerned I would not be able to walk, carry her and assist my wife with all that goes with infant care.

I asked my wife to purchase the Longevity Quest as a birthday gift, in advance of my upcoming birthday, to help me with my rehabilitation. I deliberated at length whether it was too soon for this type of exercise and whether I would be able to do some or any of the exercises and I did not want to waste time and money, plus risk further injury to myself. I decided nevertheless to go for it irrespective that I was still on crutches. Almost all the exercises I was able to do, only a couple I had to skip. Breaking my leg has been a major event in my life, restricting my movement dramatically and I could easily have fallen into a downward health spiral. Walking and carrying my child now became a major motivation.

Through the Longevity quest, I had the support of a daily routine and structure which kept me moving and motivated whilst decreasing my recovery time dramatically. It has been hugely beneficial to my rehabilitation both physically, mentally and emotionally.
At 49 years young, the quest is now an integral part of my life, a result of 49 days of habit. Thank you, Ben and Mindvalley for keeping me moving!

Thank you to my wife Isabel for all her support and for encouraging me to undertake the Longevity quest when I had serious doubts that I would be able to. It's been 4 months since I broke my leg. My baby is due in 2 days time and I can now walk and will be able to carry her:)
