During that time, however, I learned how strong my body and mind are and I recovered fully from my serious illness and had a moderate course of COVID-19 - both without taking any medication.
After the infection, I felt that there was no better time to proactively further improve my immunity, also because I was still suffering from respiratory symptoms.
I learned how tremendously important and immediately effective breathing is, as my symptoms almost completely disappeared after intense breathing sessions.
My quality of sleep has improved since, although it is not yet at the level, I‘d like it to be, but I have learned some powerful yet easy ways to enhance it.
Besides, the topic of seasonality is one of my biggest take-aways. I have been consuming seasonal fruits and vegetables since 2018, but have never included my pancreas and its seasonal needs into the equation.
So while a lot of the information given in the quest might seem so basic, most of us in the „developed“ world manage to disregard them on a daily basis.
I am grateful to have done this quest and I would appreciate it if it could be made available to as much of the population as possible, as I am sure that it is a good way to take charge and responsibility of your life and take the preventative measures to improve and maintain your physical and mental health and well-being.
