Modern Qi Gong

"I have been delighted to experience qi gong as something I can now share with others"

Before starting the teacher training program my qi gong practice was a comfortable routine. I enjoyed many of the benefits of qi gong, but it was largely something that focused only on myself.

Since beginning the teacher training, I have been delighted to experience qi gong as something I can now share with others. My individual practice continues, but now I also experience qi gong as something I use to connect with and serve my community. This has deepened my enjoyment and curiosity with qi gong and made even simple moves and routines feel more profound as I endeavor to experience and understand them in a fuller way that will allow me to instruct others properly. This has dramatically enhanced my personal practice and helped me to re-discover the fresh and exciting experience of a beginner's mind.

To those considering the program, I'd say that the teacher training program is not only a chance to learn how to share the benefits of qi gong with others, but it is also a chance to rekindle in yourself the feelings of intense awareness and sensitivity that you experienced as a first-time student. I've done some of these moves for hundreds of hours over decades, but it wasn't until I began practicing them with an intention to teach that I truly began to experience some of the subtle movements, alignments, or energies that Lee and other teachers describe.
