"World-class experts have fed me knowledge"

I’ve decided to live until I’m 130 years old. That way, when I die sooner, I’ll die in the middle of doing something rather than just waiting to slide into my casket.
If you were to walk past me on the sidewalk, you might think to yourself, “Hmmmm. Another old lady.” Actually, you might not think of me at all. You wouldn’t know you just walked past a woman filled with enthusiasm for life.
In this course, our wise and deeply loved sage, Ronan, told us we needed to gain knowledge, but with it, we had to gain understanding. That is what this course has given me — a combination of knowledge and understanding. In fact, that is the key that turned my heart and mind to working together.
As a teenager, I started looking for ways to better my health. Six decades later, after having spent countless hours and tens of thousands of dollars on various supplements, unused gym memberships, etc., I was still spending countless hours and tens of thousands of dollars on various supplements (but I dropped the gym memberships). And I still wasn’t healthy. In all that time, I hadn’t been able to get things to connect in a cohesive, usable way.
Then, I stumbled into this course. Right away, Ronan said that the beginning point of our journey is our mindset. That truth felt like a warm blanket wrapped around my soul. I thought perhaps I had arrived home at last. I loved what our classmate, Saba Amir, said, “We have to get out of our own way and let our body do its own work!” This course put me on that path.
World-class experts have fed me knowledge and understanding that have left me soaring after every session. Each time, I received greater permission to master my health and body. Now, I recognize it is my very right to do so.
Two truths I’ve learned have given me the power to push forward. The first is not to postpone or turn away from the hard steps. Turn the challenge into victory and add it to your toolbox. The second is, with each step you’re working on, do it right. Pretending to do it right or doing it only halfway ensures failure and is a waste of time.
There is an old book entitled “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” (by Maya Angelou). I feel like that title pertains to me. The enthusiasm I have gained from this class stays with me.

The next time we pass on the sidewalk, you won’t know it, but you will have walked past a woman who has been uncaged, set free, and whose soul is singing!
Thank you, all of Mindvalley! I know there are many, many of you who have contributed to my freedom. Thanks to each one of you!
 Love, Merilyn
