7 Days To Breaking Up With Sugar

"I was able to get through the day without consuming any sugar"

On the day of my sugar "Independence Day", Russia invaded Ukraine.
That meant a high-pressured work day, packed with the relentless cycle of breaking news, little sleep, and overall fatigue and weariness.
Essentially, the perfect storm for me to crave sugar to get those "hits of happiness" to cope with the hard news and stress.
To my amazement, however, I was able to get through the day without consuming any sugar, thanks solely to Mindvalley's '7 Days to Breaking up with Sugar' programme. It gave me the tools to have an active and aware conversation with my "food devil", understand why I was actively seeking out sugar, and to resolve my internal dialogue and find a better way to calm myself down at the end of the workday.
My solution? A long walk, in fresh air, smiling at people as I walked by brought me more joy than a piece of chocolate would ever have!

"I'm very happy to finally stop sugar"

I used to be a sugar addict when I was younger. I would go out and buy sweets and eat them all. Then I would feel dizzy and not well and feel guilty. I've always been fit and thin so it was even easier for me to indulge myself with treats because I knew I would not get fat. However, I cou...
