The Mastery of Sleep

"Thank you Michael Breus for this program and the improvement in life quality it has given me"

In the last 6-8 years I have struggled a lot with an irregular sleep pattern. I have been able to sleep well 5-6 days in a row at more or less normal times typically, then sleep pattern goes more and more forward until I go to bed in the morning and sleep during the day, and then it pushes forward until I go to bed in the middle of the day, or the afternoon and finally wake up in the morning again with some more days pushing it forward.
Finally, I have a normal circadian rhythm again for a week because I have pushed the sleep rhythm forward. I could often also sleep anywhere from 10-15 hours, and a normal day would often ben 12 hours of sleep, which made it harder again to fall asleep the next night.

This has gone on for years in such cycles I finally thought there was little I could do about it. Maybe it was due to a regular medication I have to use for bipolar disorder / weakness to get psychosis, or simply that I had this disorder or both. Even if I could sleep longer in the morning at times and sleep a lot, this is a sleep pattern I do not wish on anyone in the long run as you sleep at least 30% of the time when others are awake.

Recently I found out about Blue Light Blocking glasses, which are recommended to use 1-2 hours before going to bed to fall asleep easier + to sleep deeper. The football player Haaland also uses these. In addition, I took this sleep program through MindValley: Mastery of Sleep - in 28 days and have now completed it. I have now slept 20 days in a row at the right time, got up no later than 0950 every day and no earlier than 0820 (fixed waking time). I have gone to bed no later than 0120. I go for morning walks every day to get light on my eye early in the day and have fallen asleep almost every day for 20-30 minutes in the evening. That is, I feel that I have managed something I thought was impossible, to get control of the sleep pattern.
Now the next task is to keep it stable over time. Many people can probably take these things for granted, but for me it is a great victory to finally feel in control of this area again and not have a sleep rhythm that controls the show by itself, and which simply takes away a lot of time for everyday life.

Thank you Michael Breus for this program and the improvement in life quality it has given me.
