"The biggest takeaways for me is that everything is linked, you can't effectively lose weight if you are under stress and continuously in fight or flight"

I hade subscribed to Mindvalley for a while before undertaking this quest. I had been having thoughts about all round health and fitness as well as human longevity. My mind is fairly open to new ideas and change having been tested and pushed to various limits early in my life serving in the military, to me I felt I had already pushed myself beyond I thought was physically and mentally possible. As a business owner, I have been looking at other ideas in which we can make a positive difference to people. Having spoken to a number of people about their health and fitness journeys (in particular weight loss) I started thinking, surely there must be a better way than just starving yourselves and then dreading going on the scales in front of your peers each week. That is when I found Holobody and how I felt this might be a solution where people can get healthy and fit but still be able to 'enjoy a meal out with their friends' without feeling guilty. 
I was hoping to be able to find methods and ways of helping people become fitter and healthier in body and in mind. I have learned that health and fitness is not just boiled down to what you put in your mouth, but how you deal with life generally and how feeling better in body mind and spirit can lead to long term health. 
I would recommend this course as it backs up my theory of there being more than one approach to health and body wellness. 
The biggest takeaways for me is that everything is linked, you can't effectively lose weight if you are under stress and continuously in fight or flight. You can't feel better unless you start being kind to yourself and begin to work on your personal healing before other aspects of your life can get better. 
I am feeling a lot better in myself with my fitness, mindset and body. 
I intend to use the things I have learned in a combination one to one / group coaching sessions as well as a new fitness programme I am developing.
