I loved the previous two courses I took from Mindvalley (Duality with Jeffrey Allen and RTT with Marisa Peer), the 10X course hit a special spot.
Over three years ago, I was fit, frequently injured, but fit - training and teaching in circus aerials. For a variety of reasons, I stopped. And then COVID . . . flab and weight gain. All the ugh! But also working full time - where is the time to exercise???
Then I decided to take 10X. I was skeptical. Highly skeptical. I followed the instructions (although I did not eat as much protein as I should have on all days and did not get as much sleep as I should have on all days) but I did the workouts without doing much else, except for go for nature walk every once in a while. In just over four months, I dropped 4% fat and gained 4% muscle. I took a dxa (dexa) scan at the end of January, and one well after the formal program ended and shortly after a vacation that involved much bread and ice cream.
That 4% difference may not seem like a lot, but trust me, it is. The gentleman conducting the dxa scan was also highly skeptical when initially scanning me and me explaining the program to him. After my second scan, he was like, this works, and started asking for more details. Am I as fit as I was when I was actively training aerials? Probably not. But after being away from physical training of any kind for a while, 10X is a tremendous leap forward.
What I can say is that my body is improving, I have had no injuries, and I have a better mental perspective towards fitness than I had before.
