My 10X story may differ slightly from the norm, because I did not have goals to lose weight or to transform the look of my body.
I was never interested in the Quest and could not relate to the models on the cover: 1) there was no way I could ever muster that level of passion and intensity for fitness; 2) the closest I had ever come to looking like them was almost 30 years ago when I trained with the military; and 3) with my workload, where could I find the time for 15 minutes twice a week?
What I did begin to see in the models, however, was something I was desperate for - Strength.
Storms I had come through, left me feeling helpless, and I was depleted from the storms I continued to face. I had hardly anything left to give but still could not quite bring myself to give up. I was in anguish and longing for a way out. In addition to my willpower, my faith, the insights I received from phenomenal teachers and mentors along the way, I needed strength. I needed to find within myself, the ability - the capacity to execute.
It has been said that a strong body, makes a strong mind. During my CBC training, I learned more about the connection between the body and the mind and decided to make myself into a case study on this. Instead of puttering around with a gym membership or videos on YouTube, I felt I needed to flip my script. I needed an arena similar to what I was up against, and what better ground for this than 10X.
Eight months later (mind you, the course is three months long:)), these are the key results in a nutshell:
1. I have found myself again. I now know what it truly means, and feels like, to love me.
2. I have taken command. I cannot control what life brings, but I can build a foundation that not only weathers, but thrives in, the storm.
I am growing ridiculously stronger with each passing day, not to mention - the loss in inches and increased firmness of my chest and backside are a sweet bonus. :)
My 10X practice supports other areas in which I am learning because I am well and can therefore receive and apply my lessons in ways I could not do before.
Last, but not least, as I prepare in my business to help other high achieving, professional women through major life changes, such as childbirth, loss of a child, or divorce, for example, I want to incorporate this program into my work, because it was a game changer. If it could help heal the pain that constrained my performance, there is a high probability, it can help heal theirs, too.
Always and forever,
Thank you!
