"I learnt to love myself and show up for myself at the gym"

This is one of the best journeys that I’ve been on thus far.
Before this Quest, I would be going to the Gym for long hours but still see some gains. Now that I have transitioned to the 10X Quest along with me being a vegetarian, I have exponentially increased my gains and can see my self-love increase day by day.
I’m going to cry. What a journey this has been ;-; I can’t believe a quarter of a year has already passed.
To answer the question “What did you learn or experience that you were not expecting?”, I would say that I learnt to love myself and show up for myself at the gym. If I am able to go to such lengths to help my friends out, why couldn’t I do the same for myself and my body? It made me move from self-confidence to self-love.
Another thing was that last Friday, I went to do rock climbing (the kind without the harness) and I don’t think I would have accomplished the Orange level (3rd in difficulty) and being close to finishing the Red level (4th in difficulty). If not for training my grip strength my whole upper body, I wouldn’t have made it that far during rock climbing as I would sometimes need to swing from weight to weight and also hold myself in position.
Lesson: I should record down the reps immediately after I finish the set to prevent any confusion.

"The results awed me"

This is my transformation after 18 months of 10X. I started Jan 2018. This picture was taken October 2019. During this time I exercised no more than 30 mins a week. And in fact, I had to skip almost 1 out of 3 weeks before I was frequently traveling. Still the results awed me.
