Before the quest often once every week or two I could easily buy a pack of nicely made cookies (no corn syrup or junk but definitely white sugar and white flour in abundance) and would dip in again and again until I had devoured the entire pack. (With ice cream or gelato, I would go back again and again until I had polished off the entire pint -- or larger-- container.)
Now, there is no desire, and that astounds and baffles me. I am grateful.
Last week, out of curiosity, I bought a 3 ounce cup of high quality ice cream (tempting fate) and it was at most merely okay. Will I do a test with a pack of cookies, too? No; it would be wasted money with nothing to gain.
Thank you, Eric and WildFit. The most amazing result of the program for me has been food freedom.
