"The biggest win of the quest was that I had a blood test done on week 12 of the programme and it came back promising"

Before enrolling in this Quest, just a month prior to the start of the quest, I had a bad bout of food poisoning. I was vomiting and having diarrhoea from just about anything I ate. I couldn’t pin point it to a particular type of food. Nor was I able to see what I was sensitive to. What I was hoping to achieve was firstly to stop the digestive issues I had. At the same time, repair my relationship with food forever. I was diagnosed a Type 2 diabetes 5 yrs ago. Ever since, I have been trying multiple diets and exercise to bring about that lifestyle change. I always aim to reverse the condition. However, it fails every time. My parents are both Type 2 diabetics and my father passed due to kidney failure. Of course, I didn’t want that to happen to me. After taking this Quest I feel that I can definitely reverse this to become post diabetic. Reasons why I would recommend this Quest is that it definitely has changed my life and my perspective on food. If I had known abt this 5yrs ago, I certainly would have started on this. Throughout my life, I have had a misconception about nutrition.
This mission of Eric and his team, to educate the world with regards to nutrition is simply AMAZING! The biggest win of the quest was that I had a blood test done on week 12 of the programme and it came back promising. My 3month glucose levels were down to normal levels and even cholesterol levels were halved. My doctor reduced the medications and we are monitoring for the next 90 days, in the living WILDFIT phase. I am super excited to continue this journey and to eventually be taken off the medicines for good. My top 3 takeaways or insights during/after finishing this Quest are adherence is key, listening conciously to your internal dialogues, recognise your hungers and deal accordingly. Now, I make my own decisions when comes to food selection. That’s food freedom to me. Thank you WILDFIT!
