"I’ve lost 10kgs/22 pounds and at least 3 cms/1.5 inches"

I have been looking for a way of life for a long time and WildFit fits the bill. For years I’ve been trying to work out how to keep fit and healthy and strong through diet - and finally I’ve found it! This was the main reason I enrolled - learning to live with my body as nature intended. I had also gained 20kgs and felt truly awful for the first time in my life.
I absolutely knew this programme was for me when I heard Eric explain why we get hungry when we are thirsty - I’ve always wondered why sometimes after a meal I’m more hungry than before and this is the explanation. This and other tidbits like it were my favourite takeaways - like understanding why grain doesn’t work in our guts and also understanding why fruit needs to be eaten separately.
A bit about my weight gain - in 2019 I went on the 800 calories fast diet, and, along with huge amounts of walking and working on my feet, I had reduced my weight to a good level. I felt great but it just took so long to work out the calories and I couldn’t get back on it after my initial 2 weeks. Also as soon as I was home I started emotionally eating and piled on 10kgs/22 pounds in just a few weeks. Then I injured my knee and couldn’t exercise and piled on another 10/22. I was at my wits end.
Over the course of these 13 weeks I’ve lost 10kgs/22 pounds and at least 3 cms/1.5 inches. I am half way to my goal. I still haven’t fixed my sleeping (I’m a chronic late to bedder) and since the weekend before the programme started I have been living in a non-stop stressful situation - so what I have achieved has been massive! I’m not sure I would have been able to deal with this stressful living situation as well as I did without the change to my diet.
I feel so grateful to have found a diet (and I mean that in the wildfit way) that I can stick to for the rest of my life, that will keep me strong and healthy.
I was definitely drinking too much alcohol and caffeine and eating way too much bread and dairy and these things have gone from my diet (although I have had a little cacao and will have that as an occasional treat).
As you can see from the below pictures my changes have been fantastic. I’m no longer embarrassed to be naked or in a bikini and I’m looking forward to more spring and more shedding of weight and fat once my body has had some summer time to recuperate after the stress, as suggested by our coach.
Thank you so much wildfit team!! I am so happy I found you! And I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this programme to everyone - they’ll never find another diet that makes as much sense and that honours our body the way wildfit does. Or one that is easy to stick to because it’s delicious as well as good for you!
