WILDFIT

"I NEVER thought I could give up wine so easily"

I joined Wildfit after completing Lifebook, learning that health was the most important part of life I needed to work on. Having macular degeneration and having the doctor tell me to eat kale, dark greens, etc I knew I needed to improve my diet. I also had the stress belly from work and was so reliant on wine EVERY day as the reward for just getting through the day.
I always felt I ate “pretty good” but the wine was my issue; fat belly, up at 2 am from the blood sugar change and I knew I needed to do something. Combine all those and I needed change.
Welcome WILFIT! What an awesome way to learn about how food affects your body, how emotions drive our eating, how we can change, all through Eric’s silly FD and FA and the great support of the Wildfit team especially Pamela's recipes.
I NEVER thought I could give up wine so easily ( my new wine is water with lemon/lime in a wine glass) and learn to eat so healthily ( eating stuff I’ve never heard of before) in such a short period of time. I’m so ever grateful and I know this is my life now. The real test will be the next Retinal Specialist visit. Thank you all. Cheers!
