"I have the tools to stay healthy, instead of succumbing to the endless cycle that was created by our societies: the downward spiral of disease and pharmaceuticals"

[Relationship with food prior to WildFit]
Erratic; full of guilt, blame, disappointment. Mostly I felt like I was a failure at managing it, although I do love the stuff. And then occasionally.... the feeling of success, as I learned a new tip that might help me get back to a 'healthy' weight. It was all about the weight.
I was seeking exactly what the program promotes: to change my relationship with food! To break the cycle of dieting and backsliding, and to stop the supreme frustration of 'never winning.'
I did hope to learn more about the physiology of food and how to manage it; I had NO IDEA of the magnitude of learning on which I was about to embark.
I had so many 'a-ha' moments that I sometimes had to stop just for an instant, and process the shock.
The concept of 'seasons' in our bodies is staggering in its simplicity and logic. Ebb and flow....isn't that the way nature intended in all realms: mental, physical, spiritual, tides, weather, relationships, communication, and so much more?
I realized not only that I have the power -- but that I am #1 -- totally in charge of how my body functions and what happens to it. And now I'm working on my mind...how to apply the insights I've gained to break free of the cycle of negative self talk and sabotage that I have excelled at for so many years.
Perhaps one of the most critical pieces to this journey is WildFit's validation of my longstanding (but silent) belief that I CAN get older without being 'old' -- and that I have the tools to stay healthy, instead of succumbing to the endless cycle that was created by our societies: the downward spiral of dis--ease and pharmaceuticals, and the erosion of our pride, our self worth......our total HEALTH!
Heightened awareness of all aspects of food, and the health of our whole being -- I feel enlightened (and a bit sorry for those who don't realize the poison they're sometimes putting into their bodies.)
Weight and inches release, yes indeed -- which will now be permanent!
I am stronger mentally - even though I still have miles to go on this portion of the journey (and would relish an opportunity to learn from Eric's insights).
Experiencing a sense of power when I'm planning meals and shopping for food...and cooking it.
LOVE having a worldwide tribe of friends with whom to share this lifelong quest -- as well as support, insight, and recipes!
My Life Is Changed. Forever.
