And thanks to Eric Emeades and the wonderful Wildfit Coaches (Ariel Aurora, Ronnie Webb II... and others) this process allowed me the experience to examine my relationship with food and all of my triggers. There was no expectation from the Wildfit Team that I lose weight, other than weight and measurement recording at the start (for my own private files), and the rules when they were laid out (gradually over the weeks, not all at once) they were easy to understand, sometimes challenging, but being a part of the Wildfit Facebook group provided a community of people like me and we all supported each other. This process was amazing. I learned where my food triggers came from and how they controlled me so I could stop it. I learned to live without refined sugars, additives and loved the experience. My emotional relationship to food is one that I now control and can identify (and stop) the arguing in my head. I lost 18lbs, I sleep better, I am calmer and have less mood swings, best of all I was able to stop the medication for Essential Tremor... I no longer have that condition. As Eric says, "there is no wagon to fall off of"; and if I eat something out of the range of Wildfit from my old life I no long beat myself up. I use the experience to learn about what I ate and why, and simply return to my Wildfit lifestyle that will eventually just BE my lifestyle without a label. With much love and gratitude to the Wildfit program for a healing beyond measure.
