"Besides the pain, I have “released” almost 22 pounds and 14 inches overall"

Before starting my Wildfit Quest, I experienced a neurological issue where I felt as though I was being tasered/electrically zapped throughout each day, starting on the top of my feet, traveling up the outside of my legs, as far up as the hips, but mostly to just above the knees.
One leg far worse than the other, enough to take my breath away and stop me dead in my tracks.
This could happen 15-20+ times a day, for as short as a minute, or as long at 15 minutes at a time. In addition, my toes would splay out in all different and painful directions, like an uncontrollable Charlie horse that would not go away for several minutes at a time. I could be sitting, walking or standing, it didn’t matter.
This progressed to the point where it impacted my daily life. I could not go up stairs without being in excruciating pain (and I live on the 2nd floor of my house). I could not squat without feeling like my feet were being strangled/cut off at the ankles, as the pain was so bad. I could no longer walk without daily pain or the fear of a potential fall.

After seeing and discussing with my PCP, the Podiatrist was the next logical step, since it was my feet where it started. No root cause was determined with the Podiatrist visit in October of 2019, other than the “Well, you are overweight and you do know that can cause many health issues, but there are NO signs of neuropathy, no drop foot and you are not prediabetic, so that’s good news!”.

Next up on the list was the Neurologist in February 2020, and then COVID hit hard, delaying everything. Neurologist first ran every blood test under the sun, checking levels of vitamins, looked for toxicities, any abnormality that might explain why this is happening. Every blood test came back completely normal except, the C-reactive protein was 4 times the normal range. Yes, swelling/inflammation was an intermittent issue, but again, not a root cause of the problem. I have never had a fall, accident or any surgery-yes, considering myself very fortunate to be able to say that at 57 years old!
Neurologist recommended an MRI of the Lumbar spine (June 2020). Had that, no root cause. MRI of Cervical(August 2020) and Thoracic spine (Sept. 2020) also, no root cause. Well, at least at this point I have a good baseline for my old age!! Next up was an EMG/NCS (Nov 2020). Now, the doctor warned me how painful this test can be but I said it certainly cannot be anymore painful than what I feel every, single, day for almost a year now.
The doctor who performed the test kept apologizing during the test for the pain she was inflicting on me but I kept saying “this is a piece of cake compared to my daily reality of pain”. The result showed no true root cause still. Just a compressed Peroneal nerve on the left foot at the Fibular head. What about the other foot? Nothing. “Well, we can give you pain medication for that (no thanks), or we can try PT (yes please)”.

December 2020 I started PT 2-3 days a week. PT continued, with some improvements, but not sustained improvements. I lost a tremendous amount of strength and muscle during this entire time, was unsteady on my feet. Frustrated to no end, I felt there HAD to be something else to be able to get to the root cause of why this happened.
I saw Eric’s session with Vishen about Wildfit and was hooked. I decided that after almost 18 months of trying to get to the root cause through everyone else, I could commit 90 days to me, myself and I to find the root cause. I am worth it.
Let’s just say it was all uphill from there!

After completing the Quest, my body is finally healing.

Since giving up all forms of sugar, I have not had ONE SINGLE ZAP!!! Since eliminating all processed foods, feeding my body the right nutrients it needs, doing the Alkagizer daily without fail, my body feels better overall. I stand taller, walk with confidence again and have absolutely NO PAIN!
Still working on regaining all the strength/muscle loss in my legs, but in just 90 days, the results have been far more than I could have imagined.
Besides the pain, I have “released” almost 22 pounds and 14 inches overall.

What were the biggest positive changes that you have noticed?
Pain and inflammation went away within one week of eliminating Dairy, Processed foods and Sugar. ONE WEEK!!! My mindset of” losing” weight vs. “releasing” weight.
If I lost it, that meant I had to find it again. I have said to myself “Release the Hounds (aka-Food Devil/Sugar Monster-to be able to confront, deal and tame them) and you will “Release the Pounds”. In which areas of your life have you noticed the biggest changes?
Being able to feel confident on my feet again has been huge. I manage a production floor for a living which means I am up and down on my feet all day long.

My overall body is transforming with the changes in weight and inches.
My mindset has changed so much from the thought process of “losing weight will make you feel better” to” incorporate the entire picture of life, nutrition, mindset, dialogue not just the here and now, but my future self as well”.

What key insights did you pick up from the quest, and how did it impact the quality of your life?
Listen to your body, it certainly tells a tale if you are ready to hear it. Understanding the internal dialogue and what it truly means, how it impacts how you feel both physically and mentally, has never been taught in any classroom, book or parenting. The struggle is real for so many people to understand and conceptualize what this truly means. It certainly was for me.

Reasons why I recommend this Quest are...

An entirely new way of actually “Living” has been brought on by this Quest. Instead of just continuing to go through the motions, this journey has opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities of ones life.

Everyone is worth it, as human beings, to do this for themselves.

Even if only for the 90 day Quest, you cannot go wrong. Step by step, inch by inch, the changes are still coming and will continue to come.

The Coaches are phenomenal, the support is incredible and without any judgment whatsoever and it truly is a group of like-minded individuals coming together to raise each other up, encourage each other, laugh and cry together, but most of all, to just show up and be there for/with each other time and again, no matter where in the world we are.
