The 6 Phase Meditation

Before this quest I recently broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years, I was unhappy, irritable, and frustrated with life and the responsibilities that it came with. I wasn’t spending time with my family like I wanted to and I pretending to be happy. My boyfriend told me that he didn’t want to be married yet he expected me to live out his retirement dreams with him as a lifelong girlfriend. He altered my dreams and excepted me to continue with with as he fulfilled his. This made me angry and bitter but I didn’t want to throw away the 2/3 good years that I thought we had. My unhappiness spilled over to him and we decided to go our separate ways. Although I felt extremely happy and relieved the moment I walked out the front door, the 6 phase meditation helped me reflect on my future and see beyond the past. I seen him walk through my door in my meditation once I repeated the forgiveness phase several times and he did just that. He even apologized and that was unlike him. He had done some soul searching and made some emotional changes and wanted to try again. We’re starting over slowly. The biggest positive change that I’ve noticed is that I am more positive, more genuinely forgiving and more focused on what I want and not how others want to incorporate me into their lives.
