Before starting 10X, I was pretty out of shape. I hadn't done any strength training for years. My body fat percentage was way higher than a man should have. I was lucky to find out about WildFit which massively improved my nutrition. During WildFit, people recommended me to do the 10X Program next. I was gaining momentum to improve my health and fitness so I thought this is a good idea. Years ago I had loved strength training, but I had fallen off the wagon.
The reason I started 10X was that I wanted to get back into the best shape of my life. About 8 years ago I was working out consistently and I looked and felt great. Over the years I accumulated more and more commitments and I had less and less time to focus on my physical health. Unfortunately, fat accumulated on my body as well. My goal was to reduce my body fat % down to 15 or lower and never become overweight again. I was also hoping to improve my energy levels. I am an entrepreneur and I always ran low on energy, which was a limiting factor to my personal and business growth.
I highly recommend this program because it works! I noticed changes within 1 month, which is incredible! Another reason 10X was so appealing to me was that it didn't involve hours of grinding in the gym. All I ever need is 20-25 minutes for the actual workout in the gym. Since my gym is located right en route to my office, it is really easy for me to get my workouts done.
The biggest changes have been in my physique and my self-confidence. I really like my body and I know it is just the beginning. Other people have taken notice and are making me compliments. I have decided to continue with strength training for the rest of my life. 10X gave me clarity and a system to follow. I do not have to spend energy thinking about what works and what doesn't.
My top 3 takeaways from 10X Fitness are:
*Growth happens when you push yourself out of your comfort zone.
*It is a myth that you need a lot of spare time to be strong and fit.
*Strength training is not just for growing muscles and becoming buff, it's a necessity for both men and women.
