Sometimes I took light natural valerian-based sedatives to get at least one night of proper sleep.
But I was so used to it that my first intention to start the Wildfit challenge was to get sugar-free and to reduce weight.
I already ate conscious with a lot of vegetables but I had that incredible desire for all sorts of sweets in particular gummy bears and chocolate.
Within the first couple of weeks, I realized that my insomnia was gone. I suddenly felt refreshed in the mornings and woke up before the alarm clock went off. That was a great result already. but that was not the only positive aspect. I did not have any desire for sweets after 3 weeks in the program.
Since I was a real coffee lover I feared that when we had to «give up» coffee I would suffer a lot. It turned out that I dropped the coffee a week before we were asked to. It was easy to let it go but my body reacted incredibly. I felt like getting a cold, felt feverish, headache, tiredness and was not able to concentrate. So I gave in and had one espresso. After 15 Minutes all the symptoms were gone. I was pretty shocked about that reaction. So I tried the next day again and the symptoms were already much less and I had no coffee for more than 10 weeks.
I did not reduce much weight just about 4 kg but it is ok. And there is just 2 kg left to reduce.
The benefit of sleeping, being sugar-free and knowing how to react to cravings is much more worth than being skinny.
During the program, I was fascinated by the progress a lot of people have made especially with health issues (high blood pressure, diabetes or other illnesses).
I am happy to have found Wildfit and I have learned such a lot about food, the psychology of eating and the food industry's marketing.
Thanks, Eric and all the wonderful coaches.
