WILDFIT

"WildFit has massively changed the way I look to myself in the mirror"

To all my fellow tribe members of the WildFit February 2020 quest, what a quest! Today is the deadline, after hesitating back and forth on posting or not MY STORY, I’m happy to say that the angel won, not the food angel but the courage angel. Too much often I avoid showing up to the world, telling my story, sharing my thoughts, STRUGGLES, learnings. I hide, I’m afraid of being judged when revealing my so-loved imperfections, but well that can be the matter of another story. I could write pages and pages about all the benefits, insights, and learnings I take from WILDFIT. It has literally changed my lifestyle and my perception of myself as a human. I’ll selected two main benefits I would like to share. WildFit! I love that word now.

I’m deeply grateful to Erid Edmeades, the coaches, and the whole team behind the scenes for all the kindness, SUPPORT, and encouragement I received during the last 90 days. It felt and still feels like a family, a community, a tribe that’s there no matter how your journey is going. For the first time in my life, I’m experiencing a fantastic and consistent toilet experience, it's a daily dose of heaven. I wake-up in the morning feeling energetic, without worrying about what foods to avoid or wondering which yoga poses to step in as a desperate effort to help my bowels moving all the shit out of my body. 2 months in a row! And keeps improving, long-lasting week after week. Now I can see exactly what my belly looks like without the daily bloating and the frequent cramps, it’s beautiful, it’s LIBERATING. I have a long history of digestive problems, until WildFit. As far as I can remember, from my elementary school to recent days, I’m 36 now, bloating, constipation, gases were the daily status of my digestive system. Let’s be clear, constipation isn’t the easiest or simplest topic to talk about, sometimes saying just the word will make people uncomfortable. Nobody will reply to the ‘Hi, how are?’ with an I’m constipated, and you? I consulted doctors, naturopaths, nutritionists, known bloggers. I tried suppressing foods, adding foods, mixing foods, doing lots of exercises regularly, I went into vegetarianisms, I explored supplements. You named it. Every time that I heard on something on how to get rid of digestive issues, I would jump in expecting to find that miracle solution. No matter what I did, the symptoms just continued increasing, slowly but surely. DIGESTION isn’t a big deal in the medical system. Every time I went to my medical practitioner looking for help, s/he went like that’s ‘irritable bowel syndrome’ or ‘it’s typical in women in their 30’s’ or ‘it’s the green vegetables, don’t eat them’ or ‘you should add probiotics to your diet’… the list is long. A big thanks from my gut for giving back my freedom to eat what it feels truly good.

WildFit has massively changed the way I look to myself in the mirror (and the mirror isn't broken hahaha). Now I can look straight into my eyes with a smile in my face every morning and feel in LOVE with the woman I see, finding beauty in the face and enjoying combing my hair. Here comes my confession, since the age of 17 I have a consistent and increasing hair loss issue that I tried to hide is some many ways. I bought into all kinds of treatments from the prescribed shampoo to the laser helmet, spent lots of money… Before joining WildFit I was considering either the hair transplant or wearing hair wigs, simply because after 20 years of trying and consulting, I was exhausted, hopeless and just wanted to turn the page and LIVE. The recovery of my scalp has been unprecedented and, tears come out of my eyes as I'm typing these words. If you have been in a similar situation, you would understand the emotional damage that comes with hair loss issues… Looking at my HAIR blossom again is a major, unexpected, side benefit. I didn’t join the quest considering that healthy and conscious nutrition will be the key to recovering my head of hair, deeply happy and grateful, learning to look for progress was and is KEY to my journey, after all, recovering 20 years of hair loss will take more than 3 months. Wherever or whenever you’re right now in your life, there is a viable path to walk towards the true potential of your body. Wildfit Coach Training in my sight! Love you all!
