Within the first two weeks, I felt lively and energetic. My muscles released their stiffness and my movements felt easier and more fluid. I even got rid of a chronic stiffness in my left leg in particular, which used to make it hard for me to even extend my leg after remaining seated for a while. This improvement reinforced my belief that I was on the right track and I felt encouraged to continue the challenge. Gradually, I noticed that I was releasing excess weight as well as inches, even the notoriously difficult-to-lose belly fat! The changes were not just physical; the challenge brought to me a new understanding of nutrition, changing my relationship with food for the better. I began to understand the drive behind my habitual food choices and saw where I had been going wrong, too. For instance, I used to be an avid coffee lover, consuming 5-6 cups of coffee a day. I am amazed that the challenge has changed my caffeine habit such that I do not even like the smell or taste anymore. For the first time, I now comprehend the food-body relationship and apply it to nurture the regeneration of my own body.
The three month-challenge has brought about amazing changes in my body:
• I dropped 12.9 kilos, going from 79.3kgs to 66.4kgs.
• My BMI has reduced to 23.5 from 28
• My fat percentage has dropped to 25% from 29%
• My visceral fat index has gone down to 12 from 15 I don't have any aches, pains or stiffness anymore. My ligament tear has healed over the past three months and trigger - finger has vanished. I am natural and fluid in my movement and enjoy increased stamina. My skin glows, nails look so healthy and hair loss is close to NIL! The inner ease that I enjoy today simply cannot be explained in words. WildFit has been my best gift in 2020.
