WILDFIT

"WildFit awakened me to the importance of nutrition"

Every day, I see the impact of lifestyle on people’s vitality and longevity. Changes may be prescribed to get back on track, but these are often much easier said than done. In WildFit, I believe I have found a powerful program to forge fundamental change. Over the past several years, despite exercising and eating a clean (or, so I thought) diet, I was gradually feeling “off”. I was getting more tired. My neck, shoulders, and back were getting stiff, and my arms and hands were often numb. My sleep was often erratic. I was more stressed and irritable. My clothes were getting tighter, and with my blood pressure climbing, my doctor started me on medication. And, with a family history of illness lurking, I was getting nervous. WildFit awakened me to the importance of nutrition, the psychology of hunger and eating, and my relationship with food. I learned how certain things that I have been eating my entire life make me feel. Through the quest, I was able to ramp up my taste for a wide variety of nutrient-dense foods, while kicking caffeine, sugar, and processed foods. Now I sleep like a rock, and go through my day fully alert and energetic. My neck and shoulder stiffness are gone. I released 15 pounds, lowered my blood pressure, and stopped that medication. I have also enjoyed sustained focus and sense of calmness (in spite of the stress of the pandemic). In short, I feel young again! The transformation felt relatively seamless. Under the guidance of the coaching staff and the camaraderie of the tribe, you make incremental progress, built on a foundation of concepts and principles that make sense. Armed with understanding, you find yourself wanting and able to take the next step. It doesn’t require you to exercise willpower or ever go hungry. And before you know it, little by little, you have achieved real, lasting change. Brilliant! I feel so fortunate to have found WildFit. Many thanks to Eric, the Coaches, and the Tribe for making it a phenomenal experience!
