"By the end of the program, I was feeling better than I had in 11 years"

Before this program, I was living with chronic (terminal) cancer and emphysema. I was extremely low on energy and spent most of my time while out of the house at either doctor's appointments or medical tests. My one real pleasure was walking my dog twice every day. I tried to make these an adventure.
I struggled to cook meals for myself and ended up eating simple, usually processed, foods. I was taking a large number of drugs and supplements.
After the first few weeks, I actually felt worse than before, BUT I was following the program religiously which meant forcing myself to shop and prepare the foods as instructed.
After a few more weeks, I began to notice my body changing. I had a little bit more energy and I was really enjoying the food prep and experimentation.
By the end of the program, I was feeling better than I had in 11 years. (I've been living with the cancer for 11 years.) I feel confident that, even when I occasionally delve into foods that aren't the best, I can get myself back on track.
It's been a few weeks now since the program ended. Today I went line dancing with friends and was whooping it up with energy I haven't felt in so long. I was a little concerned that I'd crash when I got home, but instead I went for a nice long dog walk and have been puttering around the house doing chores. I still feel energetic.
I loved this program and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially anyone dealing with health issues.
Thank you Wildfit.
