"I managed to kick a 30year habit of drinking coke— in two and a half weeks"

Before I started this programme I had enlisted and followed no less than 7 diet styles and wellness programmes- Noom, Fodmaps, Keto, Palaeo, health shakes, going to the gym, advanced wellness supplements (and others)… within 4 years I had ballooned from 123lbs to 190lbs. I even tried cool sculpting where they freeze the fat on your belly. None worked. My weight continued to climb and my self esteem plummeted.
But then I came across Wildfit. I thought I’d give it the two weeks before cancelling, but then I got hooked because Eric made sense. I have gone on many no sugar diets on and off throughout my life. In my 20s I weighed less than 100lbs, was slim, athletic, modelled and I automatically didn’t feel hungry for days, so I fasted naturally. I didn’t drink tea, coffee or alcohol (sporadically)… so after my hysterectomy at 48, I steadily gained weight while still trying to lose weight.
NOTHING worked. In the 3 months of Wildfit, I have shifted 13lbs… you might say that’s not a lot, but considering I haven’t gone downwards on the scale for so long, only upwards, this is an achievement. The biggest difference was that I lost 4 inches (10cm) off my belly line— no more looking like I’m pregnant.
The biggest shift has been that and I fit into my pants again, nearly threw them out, but mentally, I have a healthier relationship with food. It’s the change in mindset, once practised fully, that is so beneficial.
I still have a long way to go, ketones not fat burning yet and I’ve hit a plateau, but I’ll work through it because I now know I cook differently, I drink water (which I hardly ever did), I breathe deeper, I stress less AND after drinking an average of 4 cans of coke a day, I ‘wanted’ not to drink it a week into the program but was told to hold off until… well, you do the program and you’ll find out…
Coke to me was the elixir of life. But from this, I learned about the bubbles and that although drinking it to wake me up every morning was like reaching orgasm— I plateaued afterwards and couldn’t wait to get my next fix. An addiction.
Proud to say I managed to kick a 30year habit of drinking coke— in two and a half weeks. Never went longer than a week without it. 11 weeks on and still have no desire to touch it. Not even tempted.
As for my anxiety attacks, I used to wake up EVERY morning around 5am believing I was going to die, with all the panic coursing through my body.
I have an amazing sleep pattern now. I never used to go to bed till midnight, wake up groggy at 7 to get to work at 8am. Now, my body clock DEMANDS that I get to bed by 10pm (too sleepy to keep my eyes open) and shock horror, I’m up at sparrow’s fart, chirping with the morning birds, wide awake at 5am.
I am now the example of healthy living because I don’t say a lot about Wildfit, people are seeing the results— I no longer have a double chin. And they ask ME how I’m achieving it…. It’s the best ever health challenge and it will stick with me for a lifetime.

"After the quest I sleep better, have more stable mood and energy during the day"

I really liked the little distinctions pointed out by Eric or on the coaching calls and within the FB community. I lost 2 clothing sizes and got rid of 15kg. I get feedback that I look younger and my skin is healthier. My wife commented that she has a new husband now.
