However, I was stuck in the cycle of losing and gaining weight. I didn't know what else to do, I thought I had brought my my body to this state and this was where it was going to stay. It wasn't all about appearances it was about feeling unhealthy (like when you eat too much) all the time. I was really scared for my heart's health too.
I found Wildfit and was intrigued by "food freedom." Did that even exist? I was constantly calculating calories, chained to all the health apps, and viewing food as good or bad. The challenge incorporates the piece every other program misses and it's the psychological piece. We tie everything to food (emotions, memories, & schemas) and when you learn that piece of yourself it's life-changing because you can then alter it to fit your health goals.
This program truly gave me my freedom back (goodbye apps). I can go to a party where everyone is eating cake and be unbothered! I lost 22lbs and 30inches but gained so much more (I sleep better, no more sinus pressure, all day energy, increase in focus, ability to listen to my body, better mood, confidence, & HUGE decrease in anxiety!)
I'm the person who had a bunch of "before" photos but never "afters." Wildfit doesn't let you fail. It knows you are human and incorporates it into the challenge. Now that I'm at the end of the challenge I'm 100% certain I'll never gain that weight. I'm happier & healthier than I've ever been and I'm going to continue on my health journey.
