"Best money I have ever spent in my life"

Even before WildFit, I had always been someone who has been searching for sustainable solutions to autonomy in health. As a medical doctor, a general practitioner for the past 12 years (graduated from International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur - Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia) I never liked prescribing medicine, I tried my best to take my clients off medications. Here's why... I grew up as a child of two general practitioners, and saw that pills were not the solution to much of the chronic issues of health. So I went on to study functional medicine, nutrition and tried as much as possible to solve my own problems. But the lack of mental clarity and will power perpetuated self-destructive patterns. There was a HUGE gap between knowledge and integration. I was still eating way too much non-functional foods, having too many destructive patterns of behavior. I really did not know where to begin to find a solution to my problems. I’ve seen how much damage we do to our mind-body when we don’t listen to it.

The damage to my body stemmed from an addiction to Milo and peanut butter sandwiches, a generally reckless diet filled with sugar, starch and dairy. I remember when my parents asked what to bring to me when they traveled to the USA for my graduation, I asked for Milo, I was a sugar addict. Also had a very bad predilection to snacking in the middle of the night. I have no willpower when it came to chocolate, cakes, bread and cheese. I was in my mid-30’s plagued with constipation, acne, allergies and severe backaches. Seriously puzzled by my predicament and was looking out for a sustainable solution.

WildFit was the final piece of the puzzle. So trying to find relief, I learned about Craniosacral therapy, and it helped but something bothered me, my symptoms kept coming back. While studying craniosacral therapy diploma course, one instructor showed a video of Jim Kwik's morning routine, which led me to listening to his podcast. I was drawn to the interview with Vishen which ultimately led me to becoming a Mindvalley member. I remember the first Eric Edmeades video I watched on Mindvalley was the one at Afest on Inception Marketing, he intrigued me, and I kept going back to watch more of his videos. In my mind, I thought this guy is onto something. So learning he was the founder of WildFit, a nutrition coaching program a methodology that draws its inspiration from evolutionary and functional medicine and nutritional anthropology, I jumped in. At that point, I was exhausted from taking care of my then 3 month old baby and my 3-year old alone while my husband was pursuing his masters. The constipation had gotten increasingly more severe after the delivery, my mood was horrible. This was truly a low point in my life. I was just truly at my wits end, having tried essential oils, different supplements and superfoods. I tried eating all the prescribed fruits to aid my movements, but there was just something that didn't quite click. I went through the WildFit 90 day challenge back in August 2018 on Mindvalley's Quest platform.

For the first time in my life, I experienced no more food cravings, steady energy and improved sleep and mood. Of course, weight that I never released before dropped off along with baggage from years past. The acne and allergies were gone. My pain significantly reduced. Best of all I started to experience having normal good bowel movements again. I believe, there was a reset of my metabolism and hormones. I was so impressed with the results and the quality of the support in the program, I decided to get certified as a WildFit coach which I think is the best decision I have made in my education. It has been a wonderful journey to be part of so many transformations in the past year. I've truly given up sugar, grains and dairy. After seeing how it ravaged my system again and again, I finally have put those foods below my freedom line. Almost 2 years out at this point, I stepped up my game each time I coached clients. There have been ups and downs, forays into non-functional food land, but each time I'm reminded that it wasn't worth it. Sitting here typing this today, we eat WildFit family meals at home during the lockdown. My confidence around my body has gotten to the point that I'm almost taking it for granted it's ability to flip easily in and out of fat-burning. I've had more mental clarity and energy than every before, I've solved parenting issues, financial issues and wake up each day grateful for the all the people and events that led me to this point. Best of all I have my own little WildFit tribe of clients I have coached. Best money I have ever spent in my life, WildFit Quest in Mindvalley. This month, May 2020, I was chosen to become a Mindvalley Approved WildFit coach, my next class starts on July 6th 2020, join me, to experience this for yourself.
