"Eric has this gift of getting under your skin and getting you to do things that you thought were impossible"

I have had serious health problems for many years. As a result of this and the decreased mobility I have put on weight, and struggled to maintain a healthy lifestyle. At the end of last year I had knee replacement surgery and ended up in a place where I had lost control over what I was eating. This together with the immobility caused by the surgery led to me starting 2020 knowing that I had to change my relationship with food. I liked the sound of the Wildfit program which promised to be not just a diet but a lifestyle change. I wasn’t sure how much motivation I had to follow the program, but knew that I needed to do something.

Wildfit is amazing. A few weeks after joining I was giving up foods that I had not intended removing from my diet even if I knew that I needed to. It wasn’t just the fact that I was actually doing it, but it was so easy. Eric has this gift of getting under your skin and getting you to do things that you thought were impossible. Of course the changes weren’t easy at times, but the support of Eric, the coaches and our amazing tribe made the impossible a reality. I feel healthier than I have done in years. I have the same energy that I had twenty years ago. Even more than all this.

I finally have control over what I eat. I no longer want to eat foods that were part of my daily diet previously because I now know how that really make me feel, and I choose not to feel that way. I also know that if I do make a mistake and eat the wrong foods there is a simple way back. This is incredibly liberating.

For anybody thinking of doing this quest I would say do it. You owe it to yourself to take this journey and to change your relationship with food for good. I still have the long term health problems that I had at the start of this quest, but they no longer dominate my life. They don’t stop me from doing the things that I enjoy. I am a keen gardener, but had got to the stage where I could only do one or two small jobs in the garden a day. I have found myself going out in the garden and moving from job to job like I did twenty years ago, and actually enjoying it. That is worth the world to me.
