I really identified with what he said: working super-hard as an Adult Education teacher and barely seeing any personal dividends for my relentless study input. I had reached a point where nothing at all was going into my brain.
So the Superbrain course is extraordinary; as an experienced teacher, I'd like to compliment the quality of the learning programme, the timing, structure and reinforcement is exceptional. And what a lovely person Jim is, a really very humbling and inspiring coach. He gets it right, literally every time, nothing is left to chance.
Given how bad my memory was at the beginning, I had realistic expectations. And I can honestly say that my 'memory muscle' is really growing now, I do feel different and believe that I have strategies to remember things, and the memories are starting to come more readily and I BELIEVE that I can access them. It's all getting better and better.
I've really benefited from the physical tasks that use both sides of the body, for example the juggling - and I've expanded this to start playing the Xylphone which is something I have always wanted to do. It's really helping - I practise scales on the Xylophone in my brain breaks, as well as the juggling and the Superbrain Yoga.
The other area that really helped is the 8R's, I am working on reciting some poetry and prose, and I can't believe that I can nearly do it, using all these steps, it really works.
Obviously, I took this course to help me at work, but this feels less important now, because in myself I feel better, more confident and I offer gratitude that Jim's dharma is to teach others to activate and strengthen their memories, as I've really never come across anyone that can teach like this. Thank you.
