Super Reading

"I started at an average of 205 W.P.M on day one but progressed to around 600-700 W.P.M"

What a life changing experience to be able to challenge myself to read super quick.

Before this course I relied too much on audiobooks but I have read a few hardcover books. I have always wanted to be fast reader as I believe in the inspiration we acquired from the vast wisdom out there which has the power to change one's life for the better. The reason I enrolled in this program is to make myself more productive. From work to personal growth, reading is immensely what anyone aspiring to growth to their authentic self needs. I encourage those who dream to make their life wholesome to take this quest. Leaders are readers as Jim says and to be a great leader one should tap into the vast materials available from the great minds who took their time to transform lives in their writings. My habit of reading has shifted from heavily relying on audio books to reading the real hardcover book as this provide the required attention to grasp huge content that has high tendency to be remembered. Audiobooks still are important in situations that is otherwise unfavorable hold a book.

My top take a ways are: To keep challenging myself to discover the best version that I have not meet yet. To reduce the limitations brought upon me by the need to be perfect. This sometimes stops me from trying something that I thing I would not meet its expectations but will work on shifting my mindset to practice makes progress. The sub-vocalization and visual pacer are great tools to reading super quickly.

I started at an average of 205 W.P.M on day one but progressed to around 600-700 W.P.M. I am reading for full comprehension at 400 W.P.M. I am working on achieving 600 W.P.M. Thank you Jim Kwik for the gift of giving us the tools to challenge ourselves to become the best version we aspire to be. Regards, Bior Atem
