Before the social media mastery program I was one of those rare people who just never took to social media. Didn't see the point, hated spending any time on any platforms, would browse FB for about 10 minutes every 6 months and get bored.
I would still call people on the land line rather than open any social media. Yet, aware that I need to show up in order to pursue my dreams and life mission, I followed my gut instinct when I randomly came across an advert for the social media course and took it as a personal challenge to confront my fears, my preconceived ideas, stop hiding and just DO IT!
Now I have taken the course, I feel confident, kitted out with the tools to approach visibility from a whole new place. Above all, I feel empowered so that instead of social media being some sort of a demon or block, it is a tool, a springboard to make my dream movement become a reality. I am grateful not only to have the practical know-how but above all the vision of how social media can create a community and a movement to make the world a better place - that has turned around the misgivings I had about social media.
