Although I had heard of Mindvalley before, I started exploring it only by late October 2017. At first, the Masterclasses caught my attention but then I decided to take Vishen’s class: Becoming Limitless.
I had read “The Secret” many years ago but was never able to put this into practice. Becoming Limitless had a more practical approach to this kind of holistic theory, and it made more sense to my mind.
Since then, I started to put more focus on my life and my personal growth. My New Years' resolution was that I was going to take care of my body, mind, and soul.
Since then, I started the WildFit Quest, joined the Mindvalley Tribe, had an amazing time/growth at the Mindvalley Reunion, and am considering attending Mindvalley University for 15 days.
Looking back into what changed in my life the past 5 months, at first it didn’t seem a lot, but by writing this I understood that the most important is me - that I’ve changed. The way I look at things has changed. I’m much more peaceful and getting more into “blissitude”.
I started to wake up earlier every day to practice the 6 Phase Meditation, and recently made part of my morning routine, to spare 10-15 minutes to myself, and write a gratitude journal, before I leave to work. Ah, and did I mention my body? It’s changing! But most of all, my relationship with food is completely different from ever before. Now I eat to nourish my body.
I work in furniture retail and decided to bring some powerful exercises like the “3 most important questions” to my work team- that helped me with my managing role. Also, keeping in mind that the way we look at things/situation ends up creating the reality you’ll see, helped me to look at conflicts in a new way.
On another hand, I was able to identify my purpose (to create Unity through people dancing to the same beat) and connect it to a passion I had recently started as a hobby - my DJ career.
I’m creating small action steps towards this purpose, and every small victory is a joy!
I have also started to connect with the most wonderful people, with the same mindset.
I made new friends on the Tribe and there’s that feeling that we’re constantly pushing each other towards growth - It is incredible how people sharing experiences and showing they care, can make you stick to your path.
I’m taking more risks in my personal journey, as I know that the Universe has my back.
Learning that it doesn’t matter “How” I’m going to make it, but instead focusing on finding out the “What”, made a big impact on my way of thinking.
Finally, I would say that I’m trying to follow Vishen’s advice about aiming to be around people who are in a higher group (skills, mindset, energy, etc) than you so that you can grow even more. I see the monthly calls with Vishen as a part of it not only because he’s always one step ahead and trying to go further, but also because people who join those calls are usually on the same path of growth.
