"I've learned a whole lot"

I've been on a journey of self discovery for approximately 15 years now after suffering two bad episodes of depression. I knew on the second occasion that something had to change in my life because nothing else seemed to be working.
My life changed when I read Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now" where I first learned about the ego and victimhood. I realised that basically since the age of 7, I'd fallen into the victim trap, thinking I was alone in the world where no one understood me. After many years of learning including reading books, taking courses, learning practices like tarot, numerology, palmistry and the like, I began practising meditation.

However, I often stressed that I wasn't doing it right or was failing in some way - even though I could feel the benefits. Recently, after letting my spiritual studies slide while I became occupied with other things, I had a calling to reconnect with the Universe and learn other ways to connect.

This is what lead me to Mindvalley. Within a few days of watching some of the masterclasses, I've learned a whole lot more about the practice of meditation and the stages of personal growth. I'm super excited to continue discovering new insights and advancing so that I can give the world the best that I have to offer.
