After taking this Quest I feel more connected to my body and I honour it as I listen to its needs rather than what society and others expect of it. I learned to let go of the 'vegan' health label and delved into accepting vegetarianism and even allowing my body to eat fish and meat without judgement as it spoke to me. As I did this, I discovered that I judged others less and discovered that my body really is a temple to be adored in every way.
The reason I enrolled in this Quest was to motivate myself towards greater health and wellbeing particularly after having had shoulder surgery in 2018. What I was hoping to learn was how to develop physical strength and meditation techniques. I was super excited to learn the 6-phase meditation. Reasons why I recommend this Quest is that there is a very supportive community behind the program. It's part of the reason why it has been so successful. The small community here in Australia is like an extended family now. Areas of my life in which I’ve noticed the biggest changes are strength training (I have not done this in 10 years), my sleep hygiene and connecting to the 6-phase meditation.
My top 3 takeaways or insights during/after finishing this Quest are that community counts, my body speaks to me daily and that I can create positive change in my life through the 6-phase meditation.
The biggest positive change(s) I’ve noticed are developing strength and awareness about what I am consuming. I was not having adequate protein in my diet and now I have addressed this. Thank you so much Holobody team!
