As an occupational therapist assistant (COTA), I was seeing first-hand how lifestyle can affect people mentally and physically and I increasingly developed the desire to be part of the change I was hoping to see in the way physical and mental healing was approached.
I don’t remember how I found the information about Mindvalley and Holobody but I know it came to me at the perfect time after I resigned from my position as a COTA because of burn out. With this program, I have greatly increased my knowledge and found the inspiration, motivation and a supportive community to become who I want to become away from the health care system constraints and pressure.
Because I had already spent a lot of time educating myself on the subject of holistic health, I thought the program would be easy to follow. I didn’t expect to learn so much more and in so much depth particularly about fitness. I learned a lot for my own self-care at the stage of my life. I learned that eating healthy and moving is not enough to feel great. I learned how much I didn’t know and how much I had abused my body and mind pushing it so hard for so long.
Thanks to this program, I now respect my body and pay attention to its needs and that’s probably the most important part of it all. Thanks to this program, I’m also closer to my goal of putting my knowledge at work to continue improving my self-care and to guide others find their way to wellbeing, clear minded, focused and full of energy.
