What I loved about the program was the logical way to approach making friends with your body. It was gentle and hard at the same time. It's also a logical way to approach change with clients- your body is your friend, not your enemy, so treat it like you would treat a good friend that you rely on. I'm looking forward to getting a group of my own going very soon.
For me, what was really new was discovering how people tend to sabotage themselves when they start a program. I was one who gave up too soon or believed that what worked for others wouldn't work for me. Yeah, I'm that special. I also loved the concept of the micro workouts. I still haven't made it to the gym, but I am doing my squats, pushups, and pull-ups at home especially when I am waiting around for something to finish. One of these days I will be consistent with the equipment I already own. I have seen changes in the shape of my arms and legs, but even better, I smile when I look at myself in the mirror and I no longer project what my clients might be thinking about my body.
