I enrolled in the 10X Coaching Certification to level up my health & knowledge from a longevity perspective with the most up-to-date science, as well as with proven physical fitness methods to make habitual in my own life and share with clients in my private holistic wellness practice. Lorenzo's expertise and infectious passion for the material, as well as Jelena's vital presence in adapting the content for the female body (and reeling in Lorenzo's many tangents!), immediately drew me to take it one step beyond the 10X Quest to go for the complete coaching certification. They were Yin to each other's Yang in transmitting such dense & complex scientific material in an understandable & actionable way. I like to understand the ins and outs of these types of topics, and this program certainly delivered beyond expectations. I loved that the program taught by having us begin as our own students would, taking us through the end-to-end process of completing the fitness program so we could experience the challenges, nuances, and incredible results for ourselves. It is a program that meets each person exactly where they are at; even if bedridden, chairbound, injured, those who have never lifted a weight before, expert lifters, elderly, etc. The coaching videos of Lorenzo demonstrating each routine and Ajit's coaching fundamentals were also invaluable tools that allowed us to immediately start helping others even while completing the course material.
The impact this course had on my life went far beyond physical fitness. With my newfound understanding of how and why certain actions work, I was able to instil many habits into my daily routine that brought much more joy, balance and relaxation into my life than I ever expected. I also realized just how much more capable my body was, of adapting, sculpting, and pushing to limits far beyond what I believed I could do. Before 10X, I loved being active but hated wasting my time in the gym -- and it really felt like a waste, like throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. And to work out at home, I had no idea where to begin! Equipment is also expensive and I wanted to be intentional about spending money on my "ideal home gym". I felt that the fitness industry, as I had experienced it, was missing something -- that the methods and philosophies were outdated, inefficient and ultimately ineffective. I had witnessed friends slog for 3 hours a night in the gym, but after months and months seeing very little results. Even worse, little-to-no programs took into account how routines need to be adapted for the female body! I always felt like there was a better way, and then 10X swept me away. I mean, 15 minutes twice a week? Ideal! It takes all the excuses away. And I love that the method grows with you. Having mastered the principles and improved upon my fitness baselines, I have endless options to continually progress and focus on muscles groups, body shape & symmetry that I personally want to develop. I'll surely be doing 10X for life alongside other sports and activities that I love. My partner also went through the process with me as my coaching guinea pig, and it was easy for him to see how amazing it is. He recently marvelled at how he has NEVER had such a strong & defined chest before, even in his shotput days! As a vegan, he also now has specific tools to optimize his muscle mass & strength, which he never had before.
So how has my life changed? Well, my body shape, strength & definition have visibly & quantifiably improved, no doubt about that! BUT, the most valuable changes were unexpected and impacted far beyond that. This program has helped mould me into a person I am proud of (alongside HoloBody). I went from having grown lazy and full of excuses to someone whose body CRAVES activity, and especially the challenge and movement of the Alpha, Beta & Gamma routines. I had never been a morning person before, I had accepted Night Owl status as part of my core identity long ago. Now I wake up at a decent time on the regular SPECIFICALLY to have enough time to start my day with walking and fitness routines -- and it's still crazy to me that I'm thrilled to do it! Was it hard? Yes, it took effort and some days really sucked, but I can't describe how incredible it feels to witness your own body & psyche responding to changes you're making, and it fuels your motivation to stick with it. You don't know what you don't know, and I didn't know my body could feel this good, and how my mental and emotional state would positively shift as a result. I'm now equipped to make better & better choices for myself. I've built resilience into my mind and body that reaches beyond physical challenges. Fear of failure had kept me from doing SO many things in my life, so learning to push to "failure" and redefining/internalizing "failure" as an ultimately positive & essential piece of any journey were invaluable-- there is literally no growth without it! My goal was never to be super strict or perfect about it, but to focus on keystone actions & routines that build a reserve of health, strength & longevity so I can truly enjoy my life without long-term health consequences. Now in the times that I backslide (as life happens), I bounce back far quicker. And the better I feel, the more I want to maintain it so, for example, where I would have chosen to soothe my emotional state with fast food before, now I prefer to fuel myself with food that is clean and nourishing because I can FEEL the difference in my body (and prefer to prioritize my health over the instant dopamine gratification). Again, that is crazy for me to be able to say is now true about myself! Don't get me wrong, I still love my chocolate and cheeky snacks, but now I can consume them in moderation knowing I have tools at my disposal to strike a balance, even if I do overindulge on occasion. 
I can go on and on singing praises about my 10X experience. Honestly…just do the program and watch your life transform. You won't be able to help yourself in sharing it with others. And even if you try to hold back, people will witness your transformation and be dying to know what you're doing anyway :D
