Health and Fitness: I needed a huge change in this category and have gotten results! For the first time in years, I made an exercise schedule and for the first time ever, stuck with it. I have been doing yoga, strength training, and cardio. After 4 HIIT sessions, I did not need to use my inhaler afterward! My arm muscles are already bigger, and my stomach a bit flatter. I am at my goal weight already but planned to continue adding muscle. I have started a skincare routine. I am moisturizing and using sunscreen. I started a retinoid. My face is definitely looking clearer and brighter. I have had green tea every day and 2 liters of water. While I already was doing a weekly meal prep for my husband's lunches and our dinners, I have been now making more portions for myself so I have healthy food ready for my lunches (more lettuce, broccoli, homemade hummus with vegetables, etc.) I have been taking a vitamin.
Finance: Our finances are a strong category, but we have strengthened it this past month. We sit down weekly, but once a month minimum and discuss budget progress, big expenses, etc. Being on the same page and with a very clear goal is so empowering. We crunched the numbers and saw that we save over 50% of our income! I was floored. I knew it was a lot, but wow. I feel very abundant knowing that we live well, way below our means, and that we are extremely well set up for the future. I worked on clearing some childhood memories regarding guilt with receiving money and spending money.
Vision: I wrote four very detailed pages during the guided meditation. That exercise was way easier and more fun than I anticipated. The ground floorplan for the dream home is very clear to me now. I have a "feeling" for the career I want, just not quite the "what." I trust that will come soon with further thought and meditation and some hard work.
