"I am taking control of my life"

Since 1993 I have been a care giver for my family. I still continued to run online business but I was essential in the daily living of my mom who had first heart conditions and then breast cancer. Then I was able to marry my best friend of 33 years after he had a kidney transplant. That entailed a move to his town and while helping him, I also got breast cancer. We had 41-derful years but now I am a widow (6 yrs) and a cancer survivor (8 yrs). Despite my Objectivist background I did let the pressures of my day to day life put me over 350 pounds. I am now more than halfway to my ideal weight. I am taking control of my life and my health because only I can make my vision a reality. No one is coming to fix me but me (with the help of Jon, Missy and Alex and the fellow Life Bookers). I am at a happy place but I am eager to start my Life Mastery.
