The course is so unique and has helped me learn so much about myself, and has brought my meditation to a new level. Since starting the class in 2016 I have meditated almost every day, and my life is calmer, more enriched, and I do not let myself get as stressed and negative as I used to. Deborah King is a phenomenal teacher! Am so thankful for taking this course, and repeated it again this year which reinforced her teachings.
Prior to beginning the Be a Modern Master course I had started looking more into the spiritual realm, power of the mind over the body, and following many teachings from Dr. Wayne Dyer, Gabrielle Bernstein, Doreen Virtue, as well as Deborah King through her Life Force Energy Healing courses.
I have been working in the healthcare industry for 26 years, the last 18 as a nurse in an acute care setting. Deborah's teachings really resonated with me and helped me to be a better bedside nurse for my patients, and be a better me for myself and my family.
The main thing I learned from Deborah during the Modern Master course (if I had to just pick one or two) is to "be on allow" not to overthink things, or over analyze as I can do a lot! Also to listen to my intuition and the Universe, as they are telling me things! When I listen to this guidance and be on allow letting go of specific expectations for outcomes, things just opened up for me in ways I could never imagine.
Things that would had been extremely stressful for me to bear prior (watching one of my children deal with addiction, legal problems, and treatment) were very buffered giving me a greater understanding that things needed to occur in the way they did for reasons I cannot see, and that the outcome would be just as it needed to be for everyone involved. This gave me the reassurance of being safe, my family being safe, and an inner knowing of peace and understanding.
The meditation Deborah teaches is beautiful and lifts and elevates me in a way that relieves pressure in my head leaving me feeling lighter, happier, and much calmer. My migraines have decreased tremendously as well. The mediation with the Sutra's brings me such peace allowing me to let go of loss and trauma and continues to help me to see love and compassion in everyone and everything.
The world around me feels more vibrant and alive, the colors more brilliant, and I am able to see and appreciate the light in others. I highly recommend Deborah King's Be a Modern Master course and would love to take any additional courses of hers that Mindvalley would offer!
