Before this program, I was already living a healthy lifestyle, was very close to my ideal weight, and was fit. Menopause was messing with me again, combined with the stress of taking a risk and leaving my old life behind. Some belly fat is all that remains, and it is disproportionate to the rest of my body. It's frustrating, I don't feel comfortable in the clothes that I was wearing just a year ago, and it's like I'm walking around with something that's not a natural part of me.
This masterclass updated my knowledge on nutrition in general and sugar specifically. I had no idea actually how bad even 3 grams of sugar is - almost a teaspoon! And I thought fruit was a kind of enemy.
Now, I feel more empowered! I'm excited that I found steel-cut oatmeal with zero sugar! And eating fruit in the morning on an empty stomach just feels good. The feedback loop between my body and mind is making a difference.
