7 Days To Breaking Up With Sugar

"I have not eaten added sugars ever since completing the quest in June 2022"

I used to eat that 6-pack of donuts in a day. Maybe 10 full-sized Reese's Cups a day. I also ate healthy food, very healthy food, the superfoods. But, I also ate whatever I wanted, a pint of ice cream. Whenever I wanted. Why? Because it tasted good, bc I wanted to, and because I didn't have to bend to traditional beauty standards. But, I realized that at 37, it would only be a matter of time before something like Diabetes could sneak up on me. Diabetes doesn't happen to young people who bike and do yoga... Well, I decided I did not want to find out, and also, I am not "young" forever. When I saw the 7 days to give up sugar quest, it was one of the first quests I completed. I did not know what to expect. I thought I would be angry, hate myself, hate the quest. But, the quest taught me self-awareness, self-love, and commitment. I have not eaten added sugars ever since completing the quest in June 2022. My life is so much simpler. I do not constantly punish myself and then aggressively stick up for myself based on what I eat. And I spend less money now, too. I also have more room for healthy food. I definitely suggest this quest to anyone. Eric's words and reasoning can change anyone's lifestyle. It is not a diet, it is a lifestyle. And you will be happy and proud you change. I've permanently gone from 127 to 119 pounds. Though losing weight was not the goal, being healthy was.
