7 Days To Breaking Up With Sugar

"The physical effect, in addition to listening to my internal food dialog, motivated me to stick with the challenge"

With the information provided, I was able to analyze my internal dialog and overcome moments when I considered giving into my craving. I'm not over weight, but I became aware of who much sugar I was eating to "keep my energy up". I also gave up alcohol, which, usually consisted of 2 rather large glasses of wine in the evening.
On day 3 and 4 I can't tell you how physically terrible I felt. I was weak, had a headache, body aches, I needed to nap for 1-2 hours in the afternoon. It was the physical discomfort that helped me realize the effect sugar was having on my body. The physical effect, in addition to listening to my internal food dialog, motivated me to stick with the challenge.
Thank you, for giving me the mental and emotional tools to get started on this life long quest.
