7 Days To Breaking Up With Sugar

"After day 6 of this challenge (and in conjunction with my other two challenges), I feel like a different person"

I began this quest after having tried on several bridesmaids dresses and realizing I no longer recognized my body. I've been feeling like I'm walking around in some other, really uncomfortable suit, and for whatever reason, (maybe it was the lighting, or the mirror...) I decided I was done with it and needed to make changes. I took on a 30 day yoga challenge after a friend suggested it and on day 2 of that challenge, discovered this quest. I also decided to stop drinking alcohol the same day I started doing yoga, which I was doing daily (for 6 years) to deflect from several things in my life.
After day 6 of this challenge (and in conjunction with my other two challenges), I feel like a different person. I am experiencing joyful, positive thoughts, a co-worker asked me if I lost weight, and I have more energy. I knew sugar was toxic for me, but just....didn't stop eating it. I was ready when this came along. I definitely learned a lot about my inner dialogue about food and what foods I reach for for comfort in this journey and it's all been very informative. I like the quick and simple lessons, as they are easy to follow and understand, and despite working two jobs, being a Mom and having several other weekly commitments, I was easily able to fit in the lessons. Keeping sugar out of my diet hasn't been the easiest (as it's REALLY EVERYWHERE) but feels very worth it and I'm grateful! I want to be a human who is conscious and intentional...in the way I treat others...and myself...and this has helped me align with that value.
Thank you!
