"The way I feel in my body now is a level of health and vitality that I did not experience previously"

After the birth of my 3rd child (he’s 11 now), I really wanted to lose weight and feel fit. I started using a protein shake, made some additional nutritional changes, and started working out regularly. I was successful in achieving my goal, and I maintained it for many years. About four years ago, I started putting on weight again, even though I was still following the program that had brought me success; I was even running and working out with a personal trainer. I quickly put on 15 pounds and felt completely hopeless because I did not feel in control of my body anymore. This feeling of hopelessness ended up making me slowly give up and I started making poor choices with my nutrition, and eventually I stopped working out as well. I sought answers, and after some time I finally received a diagnosis of PCOS, poly cystic ovarian syndrome. Now I had an answer to what was happening in my body, but I still didn’t have a solution to releasing the weight and feeling good energy again.
Over the past few years, I’ve tried various detox programs and “diets”, including resuming what had worked for me before, all to no avail. I was completely stuck. Then this summer I saw a 7 day breaking up with sugar challenge on Mindvalley. I decided to try it, and low and behold, the scale actually moved! I was excited, and with nervous anticipation and a spark of hope, I decided to begin the Wildfit challenge.
Week by week, focusing on making one small change and another, I was seeing results. The scale was consistently moving in the direction I wanted, and more importantly, I felt my energy returning, and I began to feel more like myself again. I felt empowered by the knowledge that I was gaining through the videos and the coaching calls. I am someone who has previously studied nutrition, yet I had never come across much of the information provided in this program, and it just clicked and intuitively made sense. I found myself feeling excited exploring foods and developing an understanding of my body and what it needed. I even feel that grocery shopping and cooking are easier-both of which I despised doing before. Three months later, and I’m down 33 pounds, and even though I have a few pounds to go to get back to the weight I previously felt was my ideal, the way I feel in my body now is a level of health and vitality that I did not experience previously. My friends tell me that I’m “glowing”. I have a completely different relationship with food, and I feel so light, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. This program has truly set me free!
