Yeah, I get where Eric's coming from but is it worth my time, energy, and money? I watched the same Masterclass repeatedly for two years - being totally indecisive. Then as I watched the Masterclass for the final time end of June 2020, I had to give myself a kick up the backside, was I going to spend the next ten years watching the same video or take radical action? Surely I could do this all by myself, watch some Youtube 'gurus' for tips and...wait a minute I'd been doing that for over 5 years, and occasionally getting ill from ludicrous suggestions.
Ok, I'm in! I'm ready! And my three special needs teenagers jumped on the Wildfit ship too.
My weight has fluctuated over the years, having had anorexia in my younger years, I'd go through a healing phase and gain weight, then stress would hit, and I'd go into starvation mode - this went on until eventually, my body said no this new fat is here to stay, and we're going to accumulate more. Ha! Baggy clothes. Always baggy clothes. I'd exercise like bonkers, the gym was like a second home to me, plus all my work out videos, and early runs. So it wasn't a surprise that Eric's 'no exercise' video left me a little triggered lol. 'Eat less, exercise more', was my mantra, and it clearly wasn't working.
Due to previous love/hate relationship with the scale, I didn't own one for ten years, but I eventually bought one and my weight is 55kg, I'm thrilled. But losing weight wasn't a factor in joining Wildfit, I knew I had to get healthy for the sake of my children. It wouldn't be fair on them if I lost my health, simply because I chose to let it go. Health is everything.
Well, I'm 41, but was feeling more like 71. I'll list.
1: Lower back pain (Gone) and neck stiffness (improved)
2:Joint stiffness -is that fireworks, or my joints cracking again? So embarrassing. (Gone)
3: Bleeding gums. (Ugh!) (Gone)
4: Stuffy sinuses. (Cleared, and my singing voice improved so much that a stranger paid an annual fee for me on a singing website!)
5: Irritable moods. (Improved)
6: Anaemia (All's well)
7: Brittle fingernails. (Nails look super healthy like I've had a professional manicure.)
8: Constipation (Improved)
9: Brain fog. (Gone)
10: Poor sleep. (Improved)
11: Frequent urination (Gone)
12: Overweight - but hiding well under clothes. (Improved greatly)
13 Uneven skin tone. (Gone)
14: Low self-esteem. (Improved a lot)
15: A huge gut, always shoved inside of jeans/leggings, and big ole jumper over the top. Terrible! Yes, I could've bought slimming underwear, but I find they're just deceptive to yourself and lover (rant over lol) Improved.
16: Leaky gut. (Improved)
17: Limiting beliefs when it came to food. ( Smashed!)
18:The burning desire to preach to friends to improve their health (Totally vanished.)
19: Nibbling at kid's leftovers (A work in progress) And now for my teen's progress: My son's dandruff cleared up. The medicated shampoo did nothing. He was so embarrassed by his hair. My daughter's scalp psoriasis cleared up, the medicated lotions helped, but mainly to soothe the itching, which in turn stopped her from being teased by other kids for having "nits" And my eldest daughter is more able to hold a two-way conversation (she has autism and learning difficulties.) And I haven't had to pick her up from college for violent behavior.
Overall, bedwetting and anger bombs (autism and ADHD) have dramatically decreased. Still a few stomach issues, but I'm more than confident that will heal as we continue living Wildfit.
If you've taken the time to read this long testimony, thank you, and if you're slightly curious about Wildfit, just go for it, and don't take as long as I did. I strongly feel our changes are permanent, and more good health is yet to come :)
And I'd like to say a massive thank you to Eric for giving me back the hope I'd lost for myself and my children, a massive thank you to Kerry and Ju lee for their amazing support and astounding knowledge. And to my fellow Wildfit members, the support was fantastic. Keep on being Wild everyone xx
(Btw I hate my before pics so much, I can never go back there. Giggles.)
