As background, I've done what seems like every diet known to man. I've read every book and spent tens of thousands of dollars on gadgets, and exercise videos, and gym memberships, and weight loss pills, and online diet support and well, you name it. I had only the smallest amount of success with any program. Even the programs that seemed super easy (Weight Watchers), became too difficult for me to comply with. I was hungry and miserable, and obsessed or non-compliant - within a few weeks of starting, I would quit. Wildfit changed all of that. While I was not 100% compliant all the time with the challenge, I found that it was relatively easy to stick with it a week at a time. It could be the readiness you need when you invest $900+ dollars, or the ongoing encouragement from the Tribe, but I felt that it was nearly effortless. My son joined me in the program, and lost 50 lbs as well.
Side benefits to gaining optimal health through food choices... Though I was generally healthy to begin with, I have noticed several things that were a clear result of adopting a sustainable healthy / clean eating approach. First, my complexion is clear and bright. I had persistent nerve pain in my face that is completely gone now. I believe that was either a gluten or dairy intolerance. My hair, unbelievably is less grey than it was 4 months ago. At that time, I was encouraged by my hair stylist to start coloring my hair. I didn't really want to do that, so was stalling. Now, I have only a few strands of grey hair. My low back pain has subsided substantially as well. I'm guessing this is a factor of reduced inflammation.
The pictures I'm attaching are not exactly the kind of before and after pictures you may have wanted. I followed the instructions that Eric gave to take "for your eyes only" pictrues - which for me, meant in my underwear. Coincidentally, however, I was asked by a gentleman on a dating website to post a full body picture of myself. So I took this "before" picture a week into the Challenge. He decided he didn't want to go to coffee with me - apparently because I had a thick middle. I decided to take my "public" after pictures in the same outfit as that picture. It's a little less dramatic, but I think it gets the point across. One thing I noticed for me was that while the arms of the dress were tight in the before picture (the leftmost picture), they were loose in the afters.
