“I'm wearing clothes I haven't fit into for over three years”

It actually works! The general principles are easy enough – eat whole foods, mostly plants. And it helps to consider that those food choices are actually what works best for our bodies based on where we are from an evolutionary perspective. Logic is always good. The differentiator, though, is the support for paying attention to your inner voices around food behaviour, and then providing strategies for changing those behaviours. Nutrition meets behavioural psychology meets neuro-evolutionary biology. A powerful and effective combination. I have lost 15 pounds and still losing. And about 16 inches overall.
And - even BETTER - I'm wearing clothes I haven't fit into for over three years.
