WILDFIT

"I call Wildfit a miracle and the gift that keeps on giving"

Before Wildfit, I've spent 40-plus years trying to control my weight, much of which I did with a lot of exercise and various weight loss methods, most successfully intermittent fasting. My husband and I enjoy going to nice restaurants and eating fine food with fabulous wine. Stuck at home during the lockdown in 2020, we cooked a lot, ordered nice dinners, and drank quite a lot of wine. By the end of the last lockdown I had put on substantial weight. This first photo was taken during my birthday dinner in Feb 2021, I weighed 144. I signed up for Wildfit soon after as an experiment because, hey we were still locked down, so I can't go anywhere. Because of this it felt easier to follow the program religiously. At the end of the program, I had lost 14 pounds and was quite happy where I was. Lockdown ended and I went back to life including traveling and vacationing. However, for the next 4 months, I continued to drop weight and I lost more weight after the program than while I was on it. A total of 36 lbs. I found this astonishing, as I had gone back to enjoying my wine and occasional carbs. More astonishing is the fact that I weigh myself every week and my weight does not fluctuate more than 1 pound up or down. It's been this way for over a year. I even joked to close friends that I am now sixty with a six-pack.
I went on a holiday to the Maldives for my birthday in 2022, the second photo, and for the first time in 20+years, I ate and drank what I wanted and didn't have to worry about how I felt in my swimsuit or clothes. It made this special holiday even more enjoyable. 1 1 days of indulgence, 1 week back on Wildfit, and back to my goal weight.
I call Wildfit a miracle and the gift that keeps on giving. I still exercise most days and for the most part, I avoid dairy products and refined sugars. I start almost every day with my version of the Alkagizer as does my husband, although he would not join the experiment. I feel that I can eat what I want, and am never hungry. By following the WF principles 80% of the time, I am able to feel youthful and be healthy, fit, and lean. I highly recommend it to everyone, I truly do feel like I have achieved food freedom.

It actually works! The general principles are easy enough – eat whole foods, mostly plants. And it helps to consider that those food choices are actually what works best for our bodies based on where we are from an evolutionary perspective. Logic is always good. The differentiator, though, is t...

Dropped 17 pounds! But most importantly I am free! Before Wildfit, I was the posterchild for emotional eater. I would binge eat hiding out, eat out of anxiety, go to a restaurant or party and seat just beside the food and think about the food all the time. I could not just say no to doug...
