"I am amazed to say that I have released 42 pounds"

I am amazed to say that I have released 42 pounds (so far)!! Not quite halfway there, but I know I can do it now. It is no longer out of reach for me and I have found this journey to be so illuminating and liberating.

At University (40 years ago), I studied nutrition for two years, and I learned more in the Wildfit 90 days than I had in the University courses. Like many people, I had tried most weight loss methods, but kept seeing my weight climb back and was getting more and more dejected by it.

Learning through Eric how our years of poor eating habits, emotional baggage, and the horrible food marketing practices affected us and held us back was not something that I had considered before, and learning all of that really has freed me. Having Eric and the Wildfit staff helping us was so amazing and the tribe was awesome cheering me along. I am someone who needs accountability, so having the tribe to help with food ideas, thoughts and uplifting was wonderful. Hearing others' journey was very helpful too. I have fibromyalgia, arthritis and other health issues, and the meds and pain meant all I was doing was gaining weight. Sugar and carbs were used as tools daily to keep me going. Now, I feel much better than I have in years!!! I have to confess to not doing much exercise during the 90 days and I still did it!! I have now been able to totally ween myself off the narcotic pain med that had me so concerned, and I can't wait to tell my doctor after the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
I didn't tell my friends I was on this quest, and since I haven't seen them in a few months, they will be amazed too!

Despite Eric encouraging us to take measurements and full body before and after pics, I was too embarrassed to have the full body pics on my phone since my adult kids often look at it. I have included a few pics that I have got, but I want to draw your attention to the size of the birthday cake my sister made me less than two months before I started. Geesh! She is a great cake maker and we gained the pounds to prove it! All her cakes are big and sweet, and there has always been plenty to take home to devour after.

I love how I am treating my body now, and I love my new smile that I see in the mirror every day. I hadn't liked the way I was looking before Wildfit, but I'm definitely liking the changes I see now. Sugar and chocolate no longer call to me, and the wrong foods don't have appeal to me like before. It has been so long since I have been this weight, so I am really looking forward to a new swim suit once I can get out to shop for new clothes that don't fall off of me!!!

"The biggest win of the quest was that I had a blood test done on week 12 of the programme and it came back promising"

Before enrolling in this Quest, just a month prior to the start of the quest, I had a bad bout of food poisoning. I was vomiting and having diarrhoea from just about anything I ate. I couldn’t pin point it to a particular type of food. Nor was I able to see what I was sensitive to. What...
